2010 Chrysler Town & Country

Overview
The Town & Country is Chrysler’s premier minivan. Chrysler introduced the first minivans in 1983 with the Dodge Caravan and the Plymouth Voyager. The luxury Town & Country was added in 1992, all-wheel drive became an option for 1992 and a second sliding door was added for 1996. For 2008 the Chrysler Town & Country received a total makeover with all-new designs for the exterior and interior, more than 35 new or improved features and more powertrain options. The wheelbase is two inches longer than the previous model and the ride and handling have been improved.
The 2009 Chrysler Town & Country offers new Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path safety systems. The Rear Cross Path system utilizes the same dual ultra-wideband radar sensors as the Blind Spot Monitoring to warn the driver when the vehicle is in reverse is any traffic is moving toward the vehicle. The Town & Country LX adds a bright grille, bright daylight opening and body-color door handles. Fuel economy on 4.0-liter engine improves to 17/25 city/highway mpg and the 4.0-liter engine is now available on Touring.
The 2010 Chrysler Town & Country adds new driver and front passenger head restraints. The Rear obstacle detection display is located in the Electronic Vehicle Information Center.
